Planning Lawyer – Associate – Cardiff
Ready to shape the future of places and communities? A top 100 firm who boast a nationally recognised Planning team is on the lookout for a talented Associate to join them in their Cardiff office. You’ll be working at the heart of transformative projects supporting both public and private sector clients on everything from urban extensions to major regeneration schemes and be part of a specialist team of planning law experts.
The successful candidate will not just technically sharp, but also commercially savvy and creatively minded. You’ll be a natural communicator, able to simplify complexity and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
The Role:
- Drafting key documents including s106 agreements, planning reports, and litigation materials
- Handling litigation: pre-action correspondence, pleadings, liaising with courts, and preparing trial bundles
- Tracking critical deadlines and ensuring procedural compliance
- Advising clients on planning systems and processes with clarity and precision
