An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and dynamic General Manager to take the lead at a thriving community pub in Brisbane. This newly developed site is already attracting strong regular trade and is poised for continued growth with the right leadership in place.
This role is perfect for a hands-on leader with a genuine love for hospitality, particularly pub service, and a flair for delivering excellent guest experiences. The business offers plenty of autonomy, so an entrepreneurial approach and the ability to take ownership will be key.
About the Pub:
- Located on the beautiful South Bank, Brisbane
- A 60/40 wet-led venue, but fresh food is at the heart of the operation, creativity and collaboration with the Head Chef are essential
- Full table service and a strong emphasis on quality food and drink
- Huge potential to engage with local businesses and the wider community to drive footfall and brand presence
What’s Needed:
- British Passport and able to obtain a Working Holiday Visa
- A charismatic and approachable General Manager with the ability to build strong customer relationships and motivate their team
- Proven experience in growing a hospitality business through marketing, service standards, and team development
- Strong commercial understanding, including P&L responsibility and strategic planning
- Confidence in leading from the front and creating a welcoming, vibrant environment
