A dynamic, fast-paced multi-site retail business with a strong presence across the UK

This role is based in London and supporting managers across multiple retail locations.

This is a hands on role where you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing expert guidance on all aspects of employee relations in a commercial retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a full range of ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, absence, and investigations
  • Provide clear, pragmatic advice to line managers in line with UK employment law and company policy
  • Support complex and high-risk cases through to resolution
  • Coach and upskill managers to improve confidence and capability in ER matters
  • Ensure consistent and fair application of policies across all sites
  • Identify trends and risks, providing recommendations to reduce ER issues

Experience:

  • Proven experience in an ER focused role, ideally within retail, hospitality, or another fast-paced, multi-site environment
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
  • Confident advising and influencing stakeholders at all levels
  • Able to manage high case volumes while maintaining quality and attention to detail
  • Pragmatic, commercially minded, and solutions-focused
  • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) essential
