Job title: Family Associate Solicitor
Location: Southampton
Salary: £60,000-£72,000 + DOE
PQE Level: 3-7 PQE
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Full-time
We are seeking a talented Family Associate to join a highly regarded team in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a department with an established reputation in high‑net‑worth matrimonial finance and complex private law children matters.
You will start by building your own caseload and providing support on significant cases. The role demands exceptional client care, strong case management skills, and the ability to balance detail with strategic oversight.
The successful candidate will have post‑qualification experience across divorce, financial remedy (including trusts, business assets, foreign assets and pensions), cohabitation, nuptial agreements, and private children matters. A commercial mindset and enthusiasm for business development are highly valued, with opportunities to contribute to the growth of the department. You should be organised, proactive, and confident working both independently and as part of a collaborative team with excellent communication skills.
