Overview
The Commercial Analyst will play a key role in driving revenue growth and profitability across our membership based hospitality business. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to deliver data driven insights on memberships, pricing, utilisation, and customer behaviour, supporting strategic and day to day commercial decisions.
- Analyse membership performance, including acquisition, retention, churn, upgrades, and lifetime value
- Track and report on revenue streams (membership fees, food & beverage, events, ancillary services)
- Support pricing strategy for memberships, packages, and promotions
- Build and maintain commercial models and forecasts for revenue, margin, and growth initiatives
- Monitor KPI dashboards covering occupancy, utilisation, yield, and customer profitability
- Evaluate the commercial impact of new clubs, locations, services, or member offers
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to assess campaign effectiveness and ROI
- Provide clear insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Experience
- 2–5 years experience in a commercial, financial, or analytical role
- Strong Excel, Google Sheets skills – experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) preferred
- Experience working with membership, subscription, or hospitality data is highly desirable
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- High attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture
