Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
Short term contract Inside IR35
- £38-£43/ hour
- Mon-fri days & nights rotating weekly
I’m currently working with an established manufacturer in Corby who are in need of a contract maintenance engineer for a short-term project. If you’re looking for your next role within a friendly team, read on!
Roles & responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance engineering support across several manufacturing sites.
- Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on a wide range of production, processing and packaging equipment
- Complete planned preventative maintenance in line with site schedules and engineering best practice
- Diagnose and resolve equipment faults to support safe, efficient and continuous production
- Work autonomously during certain shifts while maintaining effective communication with production and engineering management
What We Are Looking For
- UK-recognised engineering qualification, ideally apprenticeship trained, HNC/HND or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a maintenance engineering role within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills on automated and semi-automated machinery
- Experience working independently, particularly in low-reactive or night-shift environments
