Description
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance
- Ensure the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Prepare and post monthly journals
- Contribute to the development of annual financial plans and forecasts
- Coordinate internal and external audits, as necessary
- Manage expense claims and process payments
- Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Perform ad-hoc tasks related to finance upon request
Profile
A successful ‘Accounts Assistant’ should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software, strong typing skills
- Strong numerical skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets
- A knack for working under pressure and meeting deadlines
