Community Care Worker
Salary: 12.75ph
Location: Various (Hampshire and Berkshire)
We are currently recruiting a Community Domiciliary Care Worker to support individuals in their own homes across various locations in Hampshire and Berkshire. This is a rewarding role for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care within the community.
Applicants must be drivers with access to a suitable vehicle, as the role involves travelling between service users’ homes.
• Provide personal care support including washing, dressing, toileting, and continence care
• Assist service users with mobility, including safe moving and handling
• Support with medication prompts and administration (where trained and authorised)
• Prepare meals and assist with nutrition and hydration
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with light household tasks related to the service user’s care
• Promote independence, dignity, and choice at all times
• Follow individual care plans and risk assessments
• Accurately record care provided and report any concerns to senior staff
• Adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, and company policies at all times
Essential requirements:
• Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
Desirable:
• Previous experience in domiciliary or community care
• Moving and Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
