Commercial Litigation Associate/Senior Associate – Bournemouthi
A highly regarded Legal 500 firm with multiple offices across the region is looking to expand its Commercial Litigation team with an experienced Associate or Senior Associate.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team known for handling complex, high value disputes and for delivering commercially focused, practical advice to an impressive client base including SMEs, large corporates, owner managed businesses and high net worth individuals.
The Role
You’ll be joining a thriving commercial disputes team with exposure to a broad range of contentious matters. Expect a varied and stimulating caseload, with the chance to take ownership of your work while also supporting partners on more complex litigation.
Your work will include:
- Advising on contract disputes, shareholder and partnership issues, professional negligence and insolvency related matters
- Running your own caseload with autonomy and confidence
- Preparing pleadings, correspondence, evidence and documentation for court and ADR
- Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development
- Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues, particularly at Senior Associate level
About You
The firm is seeking a talented litigator who brings:
- 4-7 years’ PQE in commercial litigation, ideally from a respected regional or national firm
- Strong technical skills and a commercially minded approach
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- A collaborative mindset and pride in delivering high quality work
- Proactivity, confidence and the ability to manage matters efficiently
