The Opportunity

A highly respected London law firm is seeking a talented Commercial Property Associate (2-3 PQE) to join its established Property Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven solicitor to work on high quality matters for a diverse and sophisticated client base, including private investors, developers, family offices, urban estates, financial institutions and occupiers.

The Role

You will handle a broad range of commercial property work, including:

  • Landlord and tenant matters
  • Asset management
  • Development projects
  • Investment sales and purchases
  • Real estate aspects of property finance (acting for both borrowers and lenders)

You will draft and negotiate documents, manage your own transactions, and support Partners on larger projects, including title and lease reporting. You’ll also be encouraged to contribute to business development and begin building your own professional network.

About You

  • Strong academic background (minimum 2:1 or equivalent)
  • 2-3 years’ PQE in commercial property
  • Solid experience in commercial landlord and tenant and asset management work
  • Experience assisting on development projects; exposure to investment transactions is advantageous
  • Essential experience in title and lease reporting
  • Real estate finance experience beneficial but not essential
  • Training and PQE from a reputable City or leading regional firm
  • Strong drafting skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Confident working with high value clients
  • Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple matters
  • A strong team player with plenty of initiative
