Overview
- Fantastic opportunity exists for an employment solicitor to join this leading Shropshire firm who are rated in L500. You will have 3+ years PQE and be looking to work in a regarded and dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Provide advice on a variety of employment law issues, including advising both employers and employees on contentious and non-contentious matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, policies, and settlement agreements
- Represent clients at tribunals and other employment-related hearings
- Conduct legal research and keep up-to-date with the latest legislative changes
- Contribute to business development and practice area growth initiatives
About you
- Qualified solicitor 3+ PQE in employment law, with experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a diverse client base
- Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
- Previous experience in delivering Employment Law training would be an advantage.
Day-to-Day
- Advising clients via telephone, email, and face-to-face meetings on employment law matters
- Drafting legal documents including employment contracts, disciplinary and grievance policies, and settlement agreements
- Preparing for and attending employment tribunals
- Researching current employment law developments
- Managing your own caseload efficiently while providing excellent client care

Job Tenure: Permanent and Full-Time
Salary: £50000 – £70000 per annum
