Warehouse Team Member – FLT Driver
Start Date January 2025
Location: Harrogate HG2 8PA
Pay: £23000 – 24500 (depending on experience) for first 6 months, payrise after probation
Contract : Permanent
Are you looking for a new role in a busy warehouse environment? We’re looking for a Warehouse Team Member to join our client team.
Important: You MUST have a valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence for this role.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am till 4pm
Your Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading deliveries (FLT licence required)
- Sorting and moving stock around the warehouse
- Picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch (UK & Export)
- Handling dispatch paperwork and ensuring correct import/export documentation
- Using our order management system (Microsoft Dynamics) to manage stock
- Helping with stock control and regular inventory checks
- Collaborating with other teams (Customer Service, Commercial, etc.)
- Contributing to continuous improvement and maintaining a safe working environment
- General housekeeping to keep the workspace clean and tidy
What We’re Looking For:
- Relevant experience in a warehouse environment
- A valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence is a must
- Basic computer skills (training will be provided on our systems)
- A team player with good attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Flexibility and initiative to adapt to changing tasks and improve working processes
- Experience with import/export shipping (preferred but not essential)
