We’re partnering with a well-established hospitality group in Chicago to identify a seasoned Front of House Manager for a high-volume bar and restaurant concept. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves the energy of a busy pub, and knows how to lead teams through controlled chaos with warmth and authority.

This role is ideal for a hospitality leader who understands the balance between operational discipline and genuine, old-school hospitality. Think packed weekends, loyal regulars, live energy, and a bar that never sleeps.

The Role

  • Lead and motivate FOH teams in a high-energy, high-volume bar and restaurant
  • Maintain exceptional service standards across bar, dining room, and events
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and floor leadership during peak periods
  • Drive guest satisfaction, repeat business, and community connection
  • Partner closely with ownership and senior leadership on operations and performance
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies
  • Support training, onboarding, and ongoing development of FOH leadership and staff

The Requirements:

  • Proven management experience in high-volume Irish bars or Irish-style restaurants
  • Strong bar knowledge and comfort managing busy service periods
  • A leadership style that is firm, fair, and guest-first
  • Experience managing large teams in a fast-paced environment
