Overview

I’m looking for a creative and experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen of a new Italian restaurant within a soon-to-open boutique hotel. The restaurant will offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner, combining authentic Italian cuisine with modern presentation. This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of a kitchen from pre-opening through to daily operation, building and leading your own team.

Your Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading a fine dining kitchen with teams of minimum 20 people
  • Proven background in Italian cuisine
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills with a creative approach
  • Fluent in English; previous experience in Michelin-starred or luxury restaurants is an advantage
  • Preferably Italian nationality or strong familiarity with authentic Italian cooking techniques
  • EU working rights.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistent quality and standards
  • Recruit, train, and develop a motivated culinary team
  • Oversee menu design, food cost management, and supplier relations
  • Collaborate with restaurant management to deliver seamless service
  • Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and efficiency
