A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented and experienced Head Chef to take the lead at a well-regarded private members’ restaurant in South London. This is a hands-on role for a Head Chef who thrives in a premium casual dining environment, with full autonomy over menu development and a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients.
The successful Head Chef will oversee a high-quality à la carte and bar snack offering, transitioning towards a refined club-style menu. With access to state-of-the-art kitchen equipment and a strong, supportive team, this is an excellent opportunity to lead a dynamic operation in a venue that values creativity and innovation.
The Company Offers:
* Competitive salary of up to 65k
* 48-hour contract , with actual working hours between 42-45 per week

What They Are Looking for in a Head Chef:
* A strong, experienced Head Chef ready to step up and lead this multi outlet club.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills in a small but busy kitchen
* Passion for seasonal British produce , creative menu development, and quality execution
* Ability to oversee 200 covers across lunch, dinner, and private dining
* A Head Chef with premium casual dining experience , ideally in a private members’ or boutique restaurant setting
* Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, cost control, and compliance
The Role:
* Lead a brigade of 7 chefs , ensuring smooth and efficient service
* Develop and refine a premium casual menu , incorporating seasonal produce
* Oversee à la carte, bar snacks, canapés, bowl food, and a private dining offering
* Ensure all kitchen operations run efficiently, with a focus on consistency and quality
* Work closely with the senior management team to develop and evolve the concept
