Description
- Sample reception and registration
- Record keeping and quality control
- Preparation of kits for in-house tests
- DNA extraction from various biological materials (blood, buccal cells, saliva)
- Inventory management and procurement of reagents and consumables
- Preparation of SAT (Sperm Aneuploidy Test) samples
- Performing PCR and minisequencing (wet lab)
- Conducting Next Generation Sequencing using the Life Technologies platform (wet lab)
- Performing Karyomapping (wet lab)
Profile
A successful Lab Technician should have:
- A degree or relevant qualification in life sciences or a related field.
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting within the life science industry.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow protocols accurately.
- Proficiency in maintaining and handling laboratory equipment.
- A collaborative mindset and excellent organisational skills.
