Non-Contentious Construction Associate (Bristol)
Highly regarded regional firm are looking for an ambitious Associate to join their Non-Contentious Construction team in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a collaborative and supportive team, advising a broad mix of clients across exciting projects.
You’ll need solid experience in non-contentious Construction Law and the confidence to work independently as well as in a team environment.
What you’ll be working on:
- Advising on construction legislation and practice
- Drafting and negotiating JCT and NEC contracts, including bespoke amendments
- Preparing and negotiating professional consultant appointments
- Drafting and negotiating collateral warranties, bonds, and guarantees
- Applying a strong working knowledge of contract law and the dispute resolution process
- Experience in clean and renewable energy projects whilst desired, is not essential
Although based in Bristol, you’ll also collaborate with colleagues in our other offices, giving you exposure to a wide range of expertise and clients.
