Overview
We looking for an interim Quality Management System (QMS) Engineer to significantly overhaul the current management system.
Client Details
The business is part of a wider Global group however the aerospace manufacturing facility is based in Redditch.
Description
As the QMS Engineer your duties will include however will not be limited to:
- An initial assessment of the quality management systems.
- Managing and improving the company’s Quality Management Systems in accordance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Collaborating with the engineering and manufacturing teams to optimise processes.
- Identifying areas of improvement and implementing appropriate solutions.
- Providing training and guidance on quality management to other team members.
- Developing and maintaining documentation for our quality management systems.
- Analysing data and producing reports on our quality performance for Senior Leaders.
- Assist in developing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.
Profile
The successful Quality Management System Engineer will have:
- Worked in a similar position within a manufacturing environment
- Excellent knowledge of quality management systems and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and team-working abilities.
- The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with relevant software and data analysis tools.
Job Offer
- An hourly rate c£30.
- Minimum 6 month contract (possible extension)
- Early finish on Friday
