Residential Conveyancer – Bristol – 2+ Years PQE
Location: Bristol (Hybrid/Remote options available)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £45,000 – £65,000 (dependent on experience)

A respected law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its busy Conveyancing team. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a varied caseload, work with modern legal technology, and enjoy flexible working arrangements in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a caseload of residential property matters, including:

  • Advising clients on all aspects of the buying and selling process (legal issues, finances, contracts)
  • Maintaining case management workflows and ensuring real-time updates are provided to all parties
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, title documents, and related paperwork
  • Conducting due diligence and risk assessments in line with firm policies
  • Providing legal guidance and support to clients throughout the conveyancing journey
  • Assisting the Exchange & Completions Team with queries
  • Ensuring compliance with firm policies and procedures
  • Supporting the development of junior team members and contributing to the firm’s culture

Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor, CILEX lawyer, or licensed conveyancer with:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential conveyancing as a fee earner
  • Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High standards of client care with a professional and approachable manner
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage deadlines
  • Strong business development skills with local property sector contacts
  • Understanding of legal technology and its integration into conveyancing processes
  • Interest in mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to team growth
  • Excellent IT skills and adaptability to modern, innovative working practices
