Salary: £55,000 to £75,000
A respected regional firm is seeking a Family Associate Solicitor to join its highly regarded Family team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex and high-profile family law matters, representing high net worth and international clients, within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of family law matters, including:
- Nuptial agreements and wealth protection
- Contested financial remedy proceedings
- Cohabitation cases
- Complex children law matters
- Domestic abuse injunctions
- Advising high net worth and international clients on complex family law issues
- Supporting business development and marketing initiatives
- Collaborating with partners and senior team members on high-profile cases
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
- 1-5 years PQE in family law
- Experience with high net worth/ultra-high net worth clients, complex financial remedy proceedings, and complex children cases (desired)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with colleagues and clients
- A proactive, professional, and collaborative approach to work
- Excellent organisational skills, with proven ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong communication skills under pressure and ability to act as a positive role model
- Enthusiasm for business development and marketing alongside legal expertise
