About you:
The Breast Imaging Department at Northwick Park Hospital has an opening for an enthusiastic Band 7 Mammographer to join its friendly and highly skilled multi-professional team. They are a busy symptomatic site who offer tomosynthesis, stereotactic guided procedures, both vacuum assisted biopsies and excisions, and are establishing a new contrast enhanced service.
Role Responsibilites:
- The Breast Care Unit has a Hologic 3Dimensions Mammography System. You will be expected to operate this unit daily in order to provide a high quality imaging service for all patients.
- You will be expected to provide care for the patients in both busy one-stop clinics as well as surveillance and family history clinics, and must be confident to perform a comprehensive range of breast procedures without supervision.
Essential Qualifications:
We are looking for an experienced Mammograper with:
- BSc Hons Diagnostic Radiography
- PG Certificate in Mammography
- HCPC Registration
- Must have Right to work in the UK
- Minimum two years experience working within a symptomatic breast unit or within the NHSBSP
